List containers and images on the local daemon.

What it does

Whoever can talk to the Docker socket is root-equivalent. Do not expose this to an untrusted model.

Typical Claude Desktop / Cursor command:

npx -y docker-mcp

Secrets it wants: none — talks to the Docker socket

Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf — any host that can launch a local MCP stdio server.
